Aeons ago, the mortal sorcerer Umiron toiled for half a century against
endless war and perpetual conflict to become a sorcerer whose power rivaled
lesser gods in its capacity to create and destroy. At some point his power
blurred the line between immortal and terrestrial, and he ascended to
Asgaard.
Having fought alongside the Mages of Order in the First Age, Umiron is said
to view those who embrace chaos or meddle in shadow with contempt. Perhaps
for these reasons, he rewards those who approach their lives with
unbreakable discipline and clearly-defined purpose.
While they may not share walks of life or hold alliances amongst each
other, followers of Umiron are all alike in that their actions promote and
perpetuate order in some way, in addition to it being a ruling force in
their lives. Under the spheres of Order, Dedication and Magic, both
scholars and priests seek his guidance.
Some time in the Fifth Age accounts began to surface that Umiron had taken
patronage over the Blood Tribunal, as its goals and methods are so closely
aligned with his inclinations.
Mortals seek him out from an ageless tower near one of the great cities,
where man can observe the heavens.
Shamans who follow Umiron may learn to commune from the paths of Revelation
and Vengeance should their deity find them worthy.
